It’s quite easy to gain admission to a Pakistani medical university through the self-finance scheme.

This is only available for those students who have a foreign nationality or Pakistani students having dual nationality.

The students applying for this scheme should have a certified degree of SSC (Secondary School Certificate) and HSSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate) or equivalent degree.

The equivalent degrees should be attested from the Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC) and have an equivalence certificate.

For admissions in MBBS, BDS and Pharm-D programs in Pakistan, the foreign nationality holders should have passed the HSSC with at least 60% marks.

The foreign applicants should send their admission forms for the self-finance scheme to the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) in Islamabad through the Embassy if their respective countries.

The overall estimated cost can be around US$ 7,000 to US$ 7,500 per year at Ayub Medical College for foreign students.
