The Following Boards are working under Punjab Education Commission (PEC).
  • Punjab Board (Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi Boards)
  • Admissions are opened for the following boards in Punjab
  • Candidates can apply online on www.aiou.edu.pk for admissions in Matric, F.A/FSC/ ICS/ICOM, BA and BEd programs of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU).
  • The last date for admission is 5th September 2012.
  • The AIOU has also extended the date for submission of assignments till 15th September 2012
  •  The university is the world’s fourth largest institution of higher learning, with an annual enrollment of 1,121,038 students (as of 2010), the majority are women, and with over 63% of the enrollment being at the distance education programs. The AIOU is one of the major universities offering Open Distance Learning (ODL).
