Are you finding the solution of Exercise 5.1 of 10th Class Mathematics?

The word “math” is a term that is used to describe the science of numbers, which includes arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and calculus. Math deals with quantity, structure, and space, and is based on the relationships between quantities. Number systems are a fundamental part of math. The most common number system is the base ten or decimal number system. This system is used by our Western culture as well as most of the world today. The digits in this system go from 0-9. There are also other number systems like binary (0s and 1s), octal (base 8), hexadecimal (base 16), and so on. These systems are not commonly used because they are hard to use. We do use them sometimes in computers, though.

The science of math has been around for thousands of years. It has been used to help people figure out how to make things easier to do such as figuring out how to get somewhere quicker or how much food they need to harvest from their crops each year to feed everyone. It’s hard to imagine life without math!

Math is defined as the “science of quantity”, or the “science concerned with relationships among quantities.” To put this in simpler terms, math is the study of numbers and the relationships between them. This includes numbers of all types (natural, rational, real, complex, etc.) and their properties and relationships to each other.
