Essay on Justice

In this modern-day and age, there is a lot of controversy surrounding what justice means. Most people would define it as getting the short end of the stick and being mistreated by someone else. When you look at this definition, it doesn't make sense because everyone has their perspective on justice.

A justice system is a public authority for rendering justice in a sovereign state and applying laws. It refers to the mechanisms used to right wrongs. There are two basic ways to define justice.

First, the set of values and characteristics of a system attempts to produce equality, while the second definition uses justice as a synonym for fairness. Both of these definitions, however, have several inherent problems. Justice is known as the outcome of a process set in place by the law.

It is the process of distributing what is morally right to the party that deserves it. Social Justice and Equality exist to 'equalize' the chance of an individual in a specific community. In almost all societies around the world. Furthermore, it entails other essential issues such as human rights, social policies, and social welfare.

Social justice refers to the compensation of human rights-based social–justness framed amid a social, political, and economic nature. A social justice perspective involves thinking about core human rights, for example, equity, access, equality of opportunity, diversity, and participation in making up the numbers. Social justice aims to change systems that produce unfair outcomes and establish rules, norms, and procedures that guarantee everyone equal opportunities.

Social justice is the ideal of fair and compassionate societies, where everyone has an equal opportunity to fulfill their potential. Everyone deserves equal access to the same level of resources and options to reach their potential. In the modern era, the face of social justice has changed. While rallies and marches are still prevalent, the Internet can also bring social injustice issues to light.

The principle of access should be free of discrimination, and this principle recognizes the rights to healthcare, adequate housing, and employment security. Diversity is required for a system to function correctly, and this is called flexibility.

All of the UN countries guarantee human rights. Participation refers to the extent to which people's voices and opinions are involved in decision-making processes. It has many definitions and interpretations, but the common idea is that everyone should treat others equitably and fairly.

The judiciary is an integral part of a country, and it ensures fair play and impartial justice in the citizens' favor. The judiciary system in multiple countries consists of a Supreme Court and High Courts at the state level. In addition to these, district courts are operating at the district level.

Our judiciary system consists of courts of different levels, each with additional responsibilities. The lowest level is the magistrate court, which is a court that can handle civil and criminal cases. Above this are county courts, circuit courts, district courts, and supreme courts. The highest court in any country is the Supreme Court. This court looks into administrative issues concerning law, maintains a constitutional check on all government activities, and tries political cases against federal office-holders.

It is one thing to say that the judicial system is robust, but it doesn't mean that the people are receiving justice. There are many ways that people of authority can get away from receiving justice. They will either bribe the judicial system by simply threatening the people who are justice for something. All of this depends on the corruption level of the country.

There is also the type who sparingly uses the meaning of justice and will try to justify any argument knowing fully well that what they are saying is morally compromised. It can cause plenty of problems and difficulties.

In the end, if we are to give justice where it is due, then it is necessary to have proper checks and balances. That is why the judicial system should revise the provided facts thoroughly, and then an educated decision is made using those facts.
