Essay on Global Warming

Essay on Global Warming - 200 Words

Global warming is the sustained increase in the average temperature of Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-20th century and its projected continuation. Global warming has become a severe problem. As a result, a large number of authorities and scientists warn us.

Mass deforestation has been an ongoing problem. But in comparison, it presents itself in different shapes and forms.

Trees are essential for the environment because they absorb CO2 and oxygenate the air.

We use a lot of fuel each year, and without trees, breathing and producing oxygen would be very difficult.

We suggest stopping using petroleum as fuel.

Natural resources are limited, and we must use them judiciously.

We must find other sources of energy.

People do not realize that the increasing temperature is a severe problem.

We need to stop pollution for the planet to survive.

Studies have shown that Global Warming is real. Moreover, it is already affecting our lives in various ways.

The climatic changes that have affected us are not just from rising temperatures globally. Instead, we see it in the form of disasters like floods, droughts, hurricanes, and earthquakes.

We are living in the days where global warming has been hitting us hard. The world is rapidly degrading because of misuse of resources and artificial operations. So, we need to take action now before it’s too late.

Essay on Global Warming - 500 Words

Global warming refers to the substantial rise in the average temperature of Earth’s near-surface air and oceans since the mid-twentieth century and its projected continuation. Climate change is a severe problem. We can all agree on that. Global warming is already evident in more extreme weather events, like hurricanes, floods, and droughts. These are not acts of God or random chance. They’re the result of our lack of action.

As the temperature rises, ice at the Northern and southern poles is melting rapidly. As a result, scientists are discussing the need to raise awareness about reducing our carbon footprint.

Would you like to live in it? Free from global warming, or can we stop it now? Global warming is inevitable, but it can be controlled. Fortunately, many solutions will reduce air pollution. It all starts with reducing carbon dioxide emissions and planting trees to absorb CO². Instead of consuming energy, which generates a lot of carbon dioxide, save energy. Start today by recycling your trash.

Since everyone contributes to the increase in global warming, it is impossible to contain the spread of global warming. A small change at an individual level, on the other hand, can turn out in a big way to control the effects of global warming.

Causes of Global Warming

The speed of global warming is disastrous from the point of view of overall lifestyle. The rate at which it’s increasing has never been witnessed before, and if it continues like this, then there will be an acute shortage in the supply of food and water. In addition, climate changes can affect climate patterns and other weather elements.

Volcanic eruptions are already the largest sources of carbon dioxide worldwide and have been a significant contributor to global warming. Despite the effect of methane on the climate, there is no conclusive data on whether it results in global warming. We must be sure of these facts before concluding that there is a relationship between global warming and methane gas.

Overuse of cars and fossil fuels leads to higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. This increases global warming, threatening the ecosystem, natural beauty, and overall balance of the planet. In addition, trees are cut down to provide land for crops, which is a loss we’ll regret for generations.

Arctica is melting, and that will cause the earth to heat up at a faster rate. Therefore Reducing carbon emissions would be effective because it would help in lowering global temperatures.

Global Warming Solutions

Even though global warming is imminent, it can still be delayed. Therefore For the decrease in greenhouse gases to become effective, governments and individuals must step up their actions to reduce this gas.

Although there are many ways to limit fossil fuel dependency, the most effective and efficient way is to switch to alternative fuels. For example, hybrid cars use both gasoline and electricity to get better mileage and lower emissions. Additionally, citizens can take the bus or carpool with coworkers to save on gas expenses. People can also individually contribute by using reusable bags, carpools, or taking public transportation.
