Corruption is the abuse of entrusted power for private gain through misuse of authority within the position or during work hours due to greediness. The dark side of society has always had a place in history. Moreover, corruption is the natural enemy of justice and balance, but it can exist anywhere with those who feel entitled to more than their fair share - be they powerful or not so much.
The reality that people are often corrupted by power is an unfortunate truth about human nature; we have seen this before when greedy leaders put themselves first and think only for themselves instead of looking after others. However, each one of us has an even more significant role to play by refusing any bribes from anyone regardless of how urgent or personal they may seem at first glance!.
The government is taking a few promising steps to root out corruption. One example of this was when Investigative journalists uncovered high-profile officers indulging in bribery and ending it.
